GREEN BANK NAMES GEOFFREY D. GREENWADE AS PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

HOUSTON, (April 4, 2008) — Manuel J. Mehos, Chairman of the Board of Green Bank, N. A., announced today the election of Geoffrey D. Greenwade as President and Chief Executive Officer of Green Bank. Greenwade comes to Green Bank from Wells Fargo Bank, where he served as Regional Manager of Business Banking for the Greater Houston Region.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 1997 as Executive Vice President, Greenwade served as Banking Center President for Bank of America in Lubbock, Texas. He also held various positions for the bank in several other Texas cities.

Greenwade graduated from Texas A&M University as a Distinguished Student with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. He received a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Baylor University.
